Pulse — Daily Readiness Score
Last updated: March 6, 2026
Pulse is designed with your privacy as a priority. Your health and fitness data stays on your device. Pulse does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information to anyone.
Pulse reads the following data from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission:
Pulse also collects self-reported energy ratings (1–5) that you enter during your morning and evening check-ins.
All data accessed by Pulse is used solely to calculate your daily readiness score and to personalize your experience over time through an on-device machine learning model. Specifically:
Pulse may use Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your readiness scores and self-reported energy ratings across your devices. This sync is handled entirely through Apple's infrastructure and is subject to Apple's privacy policies and end-to-end encryption. Only your app-generated data — readiness scores, energy ratings, and preferences — is synced. Raw HealthKit data is never stored in iCloud and is always read directly from HealthKit on each device.
You can disable iCloud sync for Pulse in your device's iCloud settings at any time.
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard data protection. When your device is locked, your health data is encrypted and inaccessible. Pulse does not implement its own authentication or storage systems — it relies entirely on the security of iOS and HealthKit.
You are in full control of your data at all times:
Pulse is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Pulse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
